Exams, more study spaces and extended Library opening

With exams starting soon, there is likely to be more pressure on study spaces across campus.
There's now a new online learning space directory that you can use to find somewhere to study.

In addition to the 24/7 opening at the Information Commons and the Diamond, extended opening hours are in place at Western Bank Library - open from 7am on weekdays from 3 May to 9 June.

Extended opening hours for the exam period

Both Western Bank Library and St. George’s Library will have longer opening hours (self service) during the exam period.

• Western Bank Library will open at 8:30-24:00 Monday to Thursday, 8:30-21:00 Friday, 10:00-18:00 Saturday and 10:00-24:00 Sunday, between Sunday 15th May and Friday 10th June.

• St George’s Library will open from 10:00 to 18:00 at weekends between Saturday 14th May and Sunday 12th June.

Western Bank Library extended opening hours

From Sunday 9 January to Thursday 3 February Western Bank Library will be open longer hours to cover the revision and exam period.  The hours are shown in the table below.  Opening hours for other library sites can be found here and helpful information on preparing for exams can be found from the  Student 's Union.

Western Bank Library Extended Opening Hours

During the Winter exam period (from January 10th to February 4th) the Western Bank Library has extended opening hours (see the table below for times). With the redevelopment work now in its final stages (effecting Level 3 and the impaired-mobility access route on Level G) you'll find plenty of silent study spaces and our upgraded network means greater wifi access.
