Are you an undergraduate student completing your dissertation in the
academic year 2015/16? Do you want your research to be read by other
researchers, users of data and practitioners?
The UK Data Service will be awarding three prizes for theses
that demonstrate flair and originality in using quantitative data available through the UK Data Service.
The three winning candidates will receive financial prizes of £500 (1st place), £250 (2nd place) and £150 (3rd place). The
abstract of the winning dissertations, along with their key findings, will
also be publicised on the UK Data Service website and to their networks within the social
sciences through their quarterly Newsletter.
The deadline for the dissertation Executive Summary is 16th May 2016.
